This rendition in stitched straw makes the Mühlbauer classic “Finn Tilly” – a so-called canotier or boater – one of the more robust summer hats. A fine rice straw braid is used to create a raw hat cone and this is then shaped into the hat. This piece is decorated with a narrow, two-colour grosgrain ribbon and bow. It is worn mainly by men, however women love it too.
Wear & Care
This hat is perfect for warm sunny weather, but will also withstand a few drops of rain or splashes of water. It is robust, but should not be bent or folded.
