The shape of this hat is known as a Fedora - named after the heroine in a play by the French writer Victorien Sardou, Princess Fedora Romazova, who wore a hat in this style (1882). This hat is made of wool felt, a strong felt quality made of 100% pure new wool. Graf Rix is mainly worn by women, but also loved by men.
