In reality it is 100% rabbit hair and counts as one of the densest and best felts available because only the shortest and finest hairs are used. To make the felt even finer, Mühlbauer gently sands the surface. And in order to bring the shape and material to the fore without any distractions, the hat remains pure and devoid of decoration.
