The cap Base belongs to the much sought after CAP series by Mühlbauer. Base has a low, rounded crown, a curved visor and a band with fastener in the centre back allowing size regulation. The cap is made of “moleskin”, a densely woven cotton that is roughed up after weaving, giving it a particularly soft texture, similar to moleskin or velvet. Apart from the “M” hatpin it is devoid of all decoration.
