The Mühlbauer hat Naja Grit is a narrow brimmed cloche (bell shape) made of hand-felted sheep’s wool. The felt has an irregular appearance, raw, uneven – therefore “alive”. In addition this material is warm and water resistant. This hat can be folded and packed in a bag and will even forgive you should you sit on it by accident. A triangular cloth made of checked, comfortably fluffy cotton flannel, has been attached to the inside of the hat. This shawl is the central theme of this collection, titled “Cloth”.
