The Mühlbauer hat Sepp is a narrow brimmed traveller made of hand-felted sheep wool. This felt appears irregular, raw, uneven and therefore “alive”. It is also warm and water resistant. This piece can be folded and packed in a bag, and will also forgive you should you sit on it by accident. Two hand-knitted scarf-like bands have been attached to the inside of this hat, allowing you to fix it in place by tying them under your chin – practical in windy or cold weather.
