Bowensplit because it is made of the split leaves of the Pandanus palm from South Asia and it was apparently a British captain Bowen who brought this exotic leaf fibre to Europe. This visor has its article number and colour code written onto it by hand. An elastic band in the centre back ensures a perfect fit and size flexibility.
