The popular hat Karl is a narrow-brimmed gentleman’s shape from the "Tracht" (traditional costume) series. Shape, colour and stylistic details that are typical of traditional headwear in the alpine region have been united in this hat. Therefore the hat is decorated with a silk cord and a small felt pocket in which one can put a feather or tuft of chamois hair (gamsbart). The brim is edged in a grosgrain ribbon. This piece is made of soft, fluffy 100% pure new wool felt. The slightly crushed appearance is not just a consciously chosen stylistic detail, but also allows the hat to be folded and packed in a bag without "destroying" it - making it the perfect hat for travel.
