The narrow-brimmed traveller Resi Pit is a hat from the "Tracht" (traditional costume) series. Shape, colour and stylistic details typical for traditional hats from the alpine region come together in its design. Thus the hat is, on the one hand, decorated with a silk cord, on the other with a small felt pocket in which you can put a tuft of chamois hair (gamsbart) or a feather. The brim is trimmed with a grosgrain ribbon. This piece is made from hair felt SUPERLIGHT. This 100% rabbit hair felt has been exclusively produced for Mühlbauer. It counts as one of the most light-weight felts available world-wide. This gives the hat a very flexible shape and makes it particularly comfortable to wear. It can be dented and moulded, folded and packed in a bag, and will even forgive you if you sit on it by accident.
